CEO & Entrepreneur
Running a global media company puts [CEO] very firmly in the public eye. No longer are international organisations run by face-less Directors, the top management are now almost as famous as the products they provide.
During times of an economic downturn, companies need to stay ahead of the competition. Occasionally, this “staying ahead” is taken too far and outside the boundaries of the law.
“Over the past 18 months we have seen a rise in bugging and digital intrusion within the corporate world. Unfortunately when competition becomes tight, some turn to dirty tactics to get ahead.” Comments Crofton, Sales Director at Vigilante Bespoke.
Advancements in hacking and surveillance technologies have aided this rise in illegal activity. Bugging devices are now incredibly advanced, and very difficult to detect.
Crofton went on to comment, “The devices available are now very sophisticated and can go completely unnoticed if installed in an office or house. Masquerading as common item such as a clock or plug socket, the device can contain a sim-card and microphone. When the device is called by an attacker, it automatically connects the call, and transmits the conversations to the attacker on the other end of the line.”
Many companies are now taking precautions within their organisations, and implementing anti-surveillance procedures to combat the threat of leaked information. However, as soon as an employee leaves the workplace, they are vulnerable to again.
“Whilst my IT department do a sterling job protecting our technology at work, as soon as I get home or spend time on my yacht, I’m exposed again.” Comments [CEO].
“I carry out a lot of sensitive work when I’m at home or on the move. I need to know that I’m secure when I’m away from the office; which is what Vigilante Bespoke does for me.”
Vigilante Bespoke provide [CEO] with a security package consisting of email, internet browsing, bug sweeping, mobile device security, and secure home network configuration.
